About Indonesia Knowledge Management Summit
For decades, the Refinery Directorate (currently Subholding Refinery & Petrochemical / PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional) has fostered a culture of knowledge sharing. This culture has permeated the refinery, enhancing problem-solving capabilities across Refinery Units. The benefits of this culture include the ability to address a wide range of operational, transactional, and technical challenges.
There have been numerous awards and achievements for Insan Mutu (employees who actively share knowledge, not only within Pertamina but also on a global scale). Over the years, Insan Mutu at PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional has received continued recognition at international forums, such as the Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF) in Turkey and the International Invention, Innovation, and Technology Competition & Exhibition (ITEX) in Malaysia. Insan Mutu from PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional has also participated in international events like the Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE), the International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions & New Products (iENA) in Germany, and the Bitgaram International Expo of Electric Power Technology (BIXPO) in Korea, among others.
PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional has a broader objective: not only to achieve the company’s internal targets (tacit knowledge) but also to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the wider Indonesian community. To further this goal, they initiated the Indonesia Knowledge Management Summit (IKMS). The IKMS, founded by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, seeks to provide a platform for promoting innovation and knowledge sharing throughout Indonesia.
